Moone Boy star Clare Monnelly: 'You're more likely to find me drinking cans in a field than sipping champagne with Hollywood stars'
She may share the screen with Hollywood A -Lister Chris O'Dowd, but Moone Boy actress Clare Monnelly says her life is far from glamorous.
In fact, Clare says she's more likely to be drinking "cans in the field" than sipping champagne.
"Everyone thinks the drinks are on me but the reality is they're not. It's cans in the field," Clare said.
When she's not shooting Moone Boy Clare (inset) works in an office to make ends meet.
"There are so few actors in Dublin who work consistently," Clare told TV Now. "I have an office job that frequently takes me back so I'm incredibly lucky."
Clare is currently starring in Brian Friel's A Month in the County at the Gate Theatre.
