ACTOR Sam Attwater may have missed out on a place in the Dancing On Ice final but having met his fiancee on the show he said he feels like the winner.
The former EastEnders star and his real-life partner Vicky Ogden (inset) lost the skate-off in the semi-final to competition favourite Ray Quinn and his partner Maria Filippov. It was the first time actor Quinn has been in the skate-off, but it was Attwater's fifth appearance and the judges voted unanimously to send Quinn into the grand final.
After his fate was sealed, Attwater, who won the ice dancing series in 2011, said: "I feel like the winner, I have something more than a trophy."
He was referring to professional skater Ogden who he is engaged to.
Moments after his final dance, Attwater said: "That was the best skate we've done from day one."
Judge Jason Gardiner told the two actors that they should not have been in the bottom two.
"Neither of you should be here," he said.
