She's gone from being a self-confessed tomboy to loving her period costumes on The Knick.
Eve Hewson has revealed she loves donning the tight corsets for her role as Lucy in the medical drama based in New York in the early 1900s.
"I love wearing a corset," she said. "It's like you get strapped into that thing, and you don't even have to try to stand up. It holds you there."
It's a long way from a younger Hewson who loved Converse and hoodies.
"I probably wasn't the most fashionable girl, but I was a pretty cool boy," she told fashion website DuJour.
The 23-year-old daughter of Bono and Ali Hewson had to beg her parents for a Chanel handbag - which she finally got aged 19 - but has since become a favourite at the fashion house.
She was a guest at their recent Paris-Salzburg Métiers d'Art show, which was held in New York, with Beyonce and Julianne Moore.
"Seeing Pharrell perform, I couldn't believe it," she said of the show. I was in the front row, and all of a sudden he popped out, it was amazing."
