LOVE/HATE star Ruth Bradley is set to break Hollywood and has been signed up as the star of a new ABC show.
Dubliner Ruth (25), who starred alongside Robert Sheehan in the hit gangster show, has been brought in as the lead in Beauty And The Beast.
Ruth's star is firmly on the rise and viewers will see her in the much-anticipated ITV series Titanic which has been penned by Downton Abbey writer Julian Fellowes.
This comes hot on the heels of her Irish feature film Grabbers which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
But securing the role in the hotly anticipated ABC series Beauty And The Beast is a huge coup for the star, who starred as lone parent Mary in Love/Hate and sister to Robert Sheehan's character Darren.
The modern take on the Parisian fairytale will see the actress alongside singer-turned-actor Darius Campbell from Pop Idol and Letters to Juliet star Chris Egan.
Ruth will take up the character of the love-torn and embattled 'Beauty' Princess Grace who discovers an unlikely connection with a mercenary bodyguard, 'Beast' Shiro, played by Darius.
And the good news comes just days after Amy Huberman landed a massive US comedy show role.
Amy (32) is ready to conquer Hollywood as the star in NBC's pilot Animal Kingdom -- the petite blonde will play the female lead role opposite Weeds star Justin Kirk (42).
Ruth's series, if the pilot gets the full funding to go ahead, will follow the story of Princess Grace who forms an undeniable bond with her bodyguard but struggles to cope with her relationship with her fiance Gorrick, played by Chris Egan.
Human Target's Jon Steinberg has scripted the ABC pilot.
