This year's play at Wimbledon has provided a few upsets to rival the World Cup so far. Biggest falls from grace have been the shock defeats of Venus Williams (right) and Kim Clijsters. Today's centre court marathon will have its usual midsummer drama, with the winner of the ladies' singles final bagging a cheque for a cool £1m.

Girls Aloud: Out Of Control SKY1, 11.50pm

In 2009, British pop group Girls Aloud embarked on a mammoth 32-date arena tour of Britain and Ireland. Watch them set the stage alight as they perform their endless string of hits including The Promise, The Loving Kind and Love Machine, along with a fresh cover of Britney Spears' number Womanizer.



BLAST FROM THE PAST

Last episode in the series that follows a group of eccentric ex-police officers brought out of retirement to investigate unsolved crimes.

Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullman sets out to discover the truth about her father's chequered past, but comes up against a wall of silence. When she discovers he committed suicide while under investigation for corruption, she's shocked to her core.

Tour de France TG4, 12.20am

Nicholas Roche, son of the great Stephen, is our sole representative in this year's famous cycling competition. The 25-year-old Dubliner, who also spent many of his formative years in France, should put in a sound performance. But the big question is, will the indomitable Lance Armstrong land a record eighth Tour?
