RTE2, 8pm Top Gear's car-mad trio Jeremy Clarkson (below), James May and Richard Hammond travel to Africa, where they are challenged to buy a second-hand car costing less than £1,500 and in no way designed to go off road, and drive across Botswana. When they take to the wheel along the way, they must negotiate salt pans, rivers and reserves full of wild animals, while facing sweltering heat and suffocating dust.
I can't help hoping a herd of stampeding wildebeest give them a right old pounding.
