While he finds it hard to get his head around the whole 'daddy thing' he finds it even more difficult to accept his responsibilities meaning a return to London is off the agenda.

Things get a bit childish when a three-year-old accompanies her milkman dad to pitch his bike business idea, but it's an ever-hopeful granny who could have the best idea of all.

RTE1, 10.35pm Pat Kenny once again takes a commanding role as a new season of the hard-hitting current affairs show gets under way. Let's hope the never ending gloom-and-doom blame-game about the mess we're in is kept in check.
Professional whingers in particular should be told to button it.

RTE1, 7.30pm A new four parter which looks at the Easter Rising's lesser known personalities.
Tonight it's the story of Francis Sheehy Skeffington, a pacifist who detested violence in all its forms.
However, during hostilities he was used as human shield, and was subsequently executed by the British.
