FOLLOWING on from the success of their electro pop musical Alice In Funderland, theatre company THISISPOPBABY are bringing OTT and glittering drag act All Dolled Up: Restitched to The Peacock Stage.

www IT'S not over until the fat lady sings.

This June, Dublin City Council are kicking off a series of operatic concerts in Merrion Square Park.

Every Friday bellowing singers and songstresses will perform on the lush green lawns.

The series starts this Friday with La Boheme.

Listening to operatic warblings while relaxing in the lazy summer heat sounds like the perfect way to spend a leisurely Friday evening. Bring a picnic blanket and a sneaky bottle of wine.

www Giles Norman is known for his striking black and white images of the coast and lakelands of Ireland.

And on June 18, the acclaimed photographer will launch his latest coffee table book, Ireland – Timeless Images, at Hodges Figgus on Dawson Street.

More than 150 of Norman's (below) most enduring black-and-white images in this remarkable collection – from rugged headlands and windswept oceans to fragile flora and shadowed skies, the monochrome prints capture the Wild West coast of Ireland and would come as a welcome addition to any bookshelf.

www FEISTY redhead Ruby Wax (below) is one of the most outspoken and fiery female presenter and comics going.

She's grilled everyone from OJ Simpson to Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and now she's appearing at the Pavilion Theatre tonight to chat about her book about mental health Sane New World.

This is guaranteed to be an unpredictable and memorable night.
