The Beckhams wanted my autograph - Niall

BREAKDANCING with the Beckhams, going to Chelsea games with Christine Bleakley, and hanging out with Liam Gallagher -- Niall Horan is moving in exclusive circles.

The 19-year-old has admitted he was surprised to hear that Victoria and David Beckham's children are big fans of boyband One Direction.

The Mullingar native met the Spice Girls during the Olympics and Victoria's three boys rushed up to the him asking for autographs and pictures, with Niall later revealing: "Her boys wanted autographs and a chat."

And Victoria was thrilled the Co Westmeath lad had taken the time out to chat with her boys. "She said 'Lads, thank you so much for meeting the boys'."

Niall said: "The kids were lovely. Cruz is an intelligent little lad. He was doing break dancing and showing us how he could spin on his head."

The star has been rushed off his feet with the launch of new single, LWWY but said his favourite perk of the job is bringing his Mullingar mates to events and gigs. He laughed: "It's the best thing about my job, getting my friends on board. One mate is a big Ed Sheeran fan so I introduced him to him. He loved it."

The singer recently met Liam Gallagher and says that they struck up a rapport.

He said: "I walked past Liam Gallagher's dressing room. He was playing his guitar and I looked in the door and he went, 'Niall you little Irish f******, come in here'.

"He was telling me some of his family were from Ireland. We met Noel a couple of times as well. He's a lovely fella."

The One Direction lads may be every teenage girl's dream but Niall insists that when they get together, it's like a scene from Channel 4 series The Inbetweeners, with lots of scrapping and slagging.

The five lads got in a spot of trouble with their record label recently when they spent a fortune in a casino in Australia. Niall was keeping tight-lipped about the figure but said: "Let's just say it got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost. A lot."

Niall is currently hobbling about on crutches after hurting his knee during a football match with mates. He also revealed he has become friendly with Co Down TV presenter Bleakley and her footballer fiance Frank Lampard.

"Yeah, it's really strange. I'm good friends with Christine Bleakley so I went to a couple of Chelsea games with her," he said.

The star went on to say he's considering getting a tattoo, like band mates Harry and Zayn. Niall said he was all geared up to get a 'Made In Ireland' tattoo but fell at the final hurdle. He said: "I decided to get a 'Made In Ireland' tattoo in green on my a***. I went to a tattoo parlour in LA but they said the skin on your arse is too squidgy. I suspect they did me a favour.

"It wasn't the best idea in the world."
