Terry Wogan to publish his first book of fiction

Veteran broadcaster Terry Wogan is adding another string to his bow and releasing his fiction debut - an as yet untitled collection of short stories.
The Limerick man, who attracted an audience in the UK of more than eight million to his Radio 2 show, became one of Britain's most popular broadcasters in a long career that saw him present a hugely successful TV chat show as well as the Eurovision Song Contest for many years.

Mr Wogan, who continues to host TV charity extravaganza Children in Need, said: "I'm delighted to follow the merry, merry pipes of Pan."
He has written several books including volumes of memoirs called Is It Me? and Mustn't Grumble.
The new book will be published in autumn.
