Teodora's heartache at losing sister in fire

MODEL Teodora Sutra has spoken of her late sister Gabriella's death and how much she meant to her.

The Latvian-born blonde said that Gabby (9), who died in a house fire in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, last September along with her babysitter Philomena O'Rourke, was one in a million.

"She was amazing, such a funny and kind of a hippie child - she was very different to other kids," Teo said. "I like talking about her, it doesn't upset you, grieving is not just about crying and being depressed. You need to talk about that person. It's healthy."

Teo, who is on the books of Irish modelling agency First Option, received the devastating news from her mother, Zara.

"I only got the call at 3am and my mum called to say: 'There's been a fire and Gabriella is gone'."

Teo, who lives with her fitness instructor boyfriend James Murphy, is still grieving but said she can cope as she knows that Gabby is looking down on her.

"You never know what will happen in life. God has his way for everyone and there was no way of stopping it," she said.

"They're in heaven looking down on us."
