IT was a case of game, set and match for chick-lit author Sheila O'Flanagan when she married her partner of over 30 years.
The couple met on the badminton court when Sheila was in her 20s.
And now more than three decades later, the novelist and Colm McCashin have tied the knot.
The author shunned a traditional white number and opted for a plum lace dress and teamed it with purple shoes.
The couple married in the Civil Registry Office in Dublin yesterday.
"After more than 30 years together, The Man and I got married," said the author.
TV3's Sinead Desmond issued her congratulations online.
"Ah hun, so thrilled for you guys, huge congrats," she said.
Sheila has penned more than 20 novels over the the course of her diverse career.
It's been a busy week for the novelist who helped celebrate her mother's 83rd birthday on Sunday.
