SHE'S been gearing up to it for weeks and model mum Pippa O'Connor spent the weekend celebrating her 30th birthday.
Following in the footsteps of pal Rosanna Davison, who recently left her twenties behind her, the Kildare native blew out her candles with husband of three years, TV presenter Brian Ormond.
Pippa told the Diary that she's not fazed in the least by the milestone birthday.
"I'm excited, I feel like I'm ready for it - bring it on," she said.
Pippa toasted her big day with close friends and family in low-key fashion over the weekend.
"When you're younger you think that at 30 you'll have everything sorted - the house and the white picket fence. I'm not exactly sorted, but I feel like I'm on the road," she added.
While she may have enjoyed a cocktail or two, Pippa has no summer holidays planned for the moment as she's been flat out with work.
The blonde is enjoying one of the busiest periods of her career at the moment and is thriving juggling life as a mum to one-year-old son Ollie and a growing entrepreneur.
"I'm embracing it," she said.
