Model mum Pippa O’Connor has left husband Brian Ormond minding young son Ollie as she jetted off to the sun last weekend.
The beauty blogger joined best friend Brian Dowling on a four-night getaway in sunny Mykonos in Greece.
Former Big Brother star Brian was all smiles as he posed with his model bestie as he celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the getaway, Pippa admitted that while she was looking forward to escaping to warmer climates, she wasn’t going to be spending all her time sunbathing.
The Kildare native admitted she was opting for fake tan to give her a holiday glow instead of risking getting sunburned.
“I adore Greece, I was there about five years ago, it’s such a beautiful place. So I’m really excited to go back.
“I’m not exactly a sun worshipper – I don’t like lying out baking in it all day, plus my freckly skin couldn’t take it,” she wrote on her blog.
Pippa recently jetted to London to catch up with Brian.
Irish milliner Jennifer Wrynne, who was crowned best dressed at Cheltenham earlier this year, is still sweeping the style stakes as she features in this month’s UK edition of Vogue magazine.
As the Leitrim designer looks set to launch her latest collection for headpieces, it seems her fashion star is fast on the rise.
“So excited to find my picture from the Cheltenham Races in this month’s Vogue magazine as part of their ‘Vogue Royal Enclosure’ feature. Never ever imagined seeing my hats, let alone myself in Vogue UK,” she wrote on Facebook.
Some of the biggest names in Irish rock will take to the stage for charity this month in memory of the acclaimed music, film and entertainment journalist George Byrne, who died recently after a short illness.
Something Happens, Paul Cleary of The Blades, Trouble Pilgrims and Pugwash are just some of the high-profile names already confirmed for the memorial gig, which takes place in Whelan’s on Friday, June 26.
Proceeds from the gig will go to a local charity in the Herald journalist’s birthplace in the Liberties area of Dublin.
