It stars a former member of one of the UK's biggest girl bands, a soap star and a Eurovision winner.

But the outlook is nothing but cheery for the cast of new musical Happy Days.

The stage adaptation of the American sitcom, starring ex-Sugababe Heidi Range (below) and Emmerdale actor Ben Freeman, comes to Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre next February.

With constant touring and a host of strong personalities in the mix, you might expect a tantrum or two.

But Eurovision winner Cheryl Baker admits she was surprised at how well the cast got on.

The 59-year-old, who won the Eurovision song contest in Ireland in 1981 with her pop band Bucks Fizz and their catchy tune Making Your Mind Up, said: "We have been rehearsing for the last few weeks and they are delightful, there have been no big egos, there's no-one who thinks they are better than anyone else.

"Heidi and Ben are great and work really well together," added Cheryl who plays Mrs Cunningham in the musical which comes to Dublin for one week on February 4.
