One Dublin pupil who wasn't able to make it to school to collect her results is Raheny Utd winger Katie McCabe.

The 18 year old soccer star spent much of her final year in school representing Ireland with the u19 squad.

Yesterday she waited in Cluj, Romania for her results.

Katie is taking part in the qualifying rounds of the Champion's League this week, with the final game kicking off today at 4 pm against Malta team, Hibernians.

"My results are already forgotten about it's back to business straight away," determined Katie told the Herald.

While her friends from St Paul's secondary school in Greenhills were out celebrating last night Katie and her teammates were training hard, working out new shapes for this evening's game.
