Singer Del Rey sells out show, announces second

AMERICAN singer Lana Del Rey is one popular lady.

Such has been the demand to see the Video Games singer in Dublin next May that promoters have laid on a second Irish gig.

Tickets to see her performing at Vicar Street on May 26 have already sold out since going on sale last Monday, so another date has been added for May 27.

A virtual unknown this time last year, her debut album Born to Die took the pop charts by storm.

Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster for €44.05.

THE social scene will take on a decidedly festive feel tonight.

M&S has nipped in ahead of the posse by laying on a Christmas food press show. A select number of invited guests have been asked to join marketing manager Carmel Breheny at the bash at its Rooftop restaurant on Grafton Street.
