IRISH superstar Niall Horan has been learning all about the downside of fame.
The blond heart throb was less then impressed after an unpleasant incident with a photographer .
Mullingar native Niall, who is currently in LA with his One Direction band mates, said he was "dragged to the floor" by an over-eager snapper.
"I hate the paps," an angry Niall told his 15m followers on Twitter.
"Just got dragged to the floor by some idiot with a camera."
The 20-year-old rarely complains on the social networking site, but felt the need to let his fans know exactly why he didn't get to meet them. "Could have seen the fans as well, but they messed it all up," he said.
This isn't the first time a member of One Direction has blasted the paparazzi, with Liam Payne also taking to Twitter over the summer to rant.
A video had been released of the singer giving a bunch of photographers the finger outside a hotel in New York last August.
The tired looking band – Niall, Liam, Zayn, Harry and Louis – landed in the US, following a brief break after their mammoth Take Me Home world tour finished earlier this month.
During the break, Niall enjoyed a rare trip home to his native Mullingar for the christening of his godson Theo, son of his brother Greg.
It was the first time that Niall had seen his family in months.
However, the singer is due to have some free time to return home this Christmas.
While the boys are busy Stateside, many of their singing pals have landed in Ireland ahead of tonight's Cheerios Childline concert.
Boyband rivals The Wanted and Little Mix, which features Zayn Malik's fiance Perri Edwards, are all set to perform at the 16th annual concert in Dublin's O2.
