Former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has revealed that her upcoming solo album is influenced by her experience as a mother.

The singer admitted her life has changed forever since the birth of her daughter, Anaiya, with partner Jason Bell in February this year.

"I can barely remember my old life at all. I think, 'What did I do? How did I get through 24 hours a day without a baby to look after?'

similarities

"Every minute is directed towards Anaiya. There are no similarities between my old life and where I am now," she told Hello! magazine.

Nadine's debut solo album, Insatiable, was a flop selling only 13,000 copies in the UK, but she says she won't hold back on her follow-up record. "I'm really laying it all out there, which is scary. I'm making myself vulnerable. But having a baby forces you to live a bit more honestly," she revealed.

Nadine (29) will tour the world with the show Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games next year and admits she does not miss being in Girls Aloud.

"It was a wonderful thing to spend my teens and early 20s doing, but I don't miss anything," she admitted.

"Everything I'm doing is so positive. I'm getting to travel all over the world and bring Anaiya with me.

"She's given me such a new lease of life, so much to look forward to and enjoy," she added.

Former bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini recently slammed Nadine for claiming that the band decided to split without consulting her.

"She's full of s**t. What d'you want us to say? She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus," Cheryl said.

"She wasn't going to make another Girls Aloud record... I feel she held us to ransom and then made her solo record deal," she added.

marriage

Coyle, who lives in California, is back with Bell after the couple split up and is thinking about marriage.

"We do everything so big in my family so I think a much more intimate one would be perfect, perhaps a location wedding," she said.

"We'll fly everyone out and have dinners and events planned for a whole weekend. Then it would be like, 'Oh, yeah, and we got married by the way'."
