Grandad Ronnie gushes over family at NME awards

ROLLING Stones legend Ronnie Wood is still in the honeymoon period with new wife Sally Humphreys, as he described married life as "absolutely brilliant".

The rocker was at the NME awards in London representing his band who were up for four awards – Best live band, Best book, Music moment of the year and Best music film.

As the couple took to the red carpet they gushed about each other and the newest member of the family – Jesse Wood and presenter Fearne Cotton's baby Rex.

The star was happy to talk about his wife and new grandson, saying: "Sally's great and my new little grandchild Rex is a great little lad as well."
