Ed Sheeran's got a present for all his Irish fans (and everyone else)
Ed Sheeran is making yet another kind gesture - by releasing a new song today, for free.
The 'Thinking Out Loud' star took to Twitter to announce the surprise release to fans with the message, "New song dropping at 5pm today UK time", and then adding, "Oh and it's free".
Ed has just wrapped up his phenomenal world tour on the back of his second album, X, which released last year.
“I thought + was my big album and I’d plateau from there. Now that this one has exceeded everyone’s expectations, the pressure is on," he said recently.
Just two weeks ago Ed thrilled 160,000 Irish fans in two sell out Croke Park gigs, where he was joined on stage by Kodaline.
The gig will reportedly feature in the next Bridget Jones movie.
