Boyzone star Shane Lynch is to share the stage with his sisters for a fairytale performance.
He will join re-formed girl group B*Witched at tonight's Cheerios Childline concert for a special rendition of iconic Christmas song, Fairytale of New York.
It will be the first time for Shane and the girls to perform the song made famous by Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan.
Shane will be joined on the O2 stage by his twin sisters Edele and Keavy and B*Witched band members Sinead O'Carroll and Lindsay Armaou.
"It's a one-off performance, but it was felt that it would be a nice touch considering it's so close to Christmas," a show insider said.
"Shane is really looking forward to singing live with his sisters – it has been a while since they have been able to do that."
Chart-toppers The Wanted and Little Mix will be joined by Shane Filan, Conor Maynard and X Factor boyband Union J at the fundraising extravaganza. Boyzone will open the show in a special celebration to mark Childline's 25th birthday.
The band played at the first ever Childline Concert 16 years ago.
Limited tickets, starting from €39.50, are still available for tonight's show.
