Nuala Carey had better watch out - it looks like Love/Hate actress Charlie Murphy is eyeing up her Lotto gig.

The IFTA-winning actress showed she has a future calling out numbers if the acting roles dry up as she helped out at a local GAA draw in Galway.

The Wexford native, who was recently in the city for the Galway International Arts Festival, was spotted mingling with local sports fans at Hughes pub in the city where she got involved in the Liam Mellows GAA club lotto.

Charlie (right), who will take on one of the lead roles in RTE's 1916 film, Rebellion, was one of the many stars participating in the arts festival, providing the voiceover for installation piece A Girl's Bedroom which premiered at the event.

Since the last explosive series of Love/Hate ended, Charlie has been inundated with film and TV offers, including a "gory" new project for BBC America, which she filmed in Budapest.

"It's great fun - lots of blood and gore, great craic," she said.
