Kylie Jenner did crash her brand-new Ferrari a day after receiving it, according to Austin Mahone.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star turned 18 on Monday, and to celebrate her boyfriend Tyga gifted her with a top-of-the-range motor costing $320,000.

There were quickly reports that she's crashed it and although Kylie has called them "rumours", Austin is sure they're true.

"There wasn't anything too crazy but just being there was pretty cool," he said of her lavish party, which he attended, on US TV show Watch What Happens Live last night.

"I was just in the back chilling and I see Kim [Kardashian, Kylie's half-sister] and Kanye [West] ten feet away from me and then I see James Harden [basketball star] walking next to me over here and then she got a Ferrari for her birthday which is insane.

"I heard she crashed it the next day."

Host Andy Cohen has quick to ask the 19-year-old star whether that was true, with Austin insisting he'd heard it and believed it.

Kylie's birthday celebration took place at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Los Angeles on Sunday. During the evening she was ushered outside by Tyga, 25, which is when she found his present sitting wrapped in a large red bow. She was pictured covering her mouth in shock as she gazed at the white Ferrari 482 Italia, and the following day she posted a picture of herself driving it right up to a private jet she was flying away on vacation in.

The star is now in Mexico with her beau and they've been spotted strolling along white beaches hand in hand. A source told Us Weekly they are "very serious" about each other, and they are thought to have been together for around a year.

The pair have received criticism because of the age gap in their relationship and have never been open about whether they are romancing. In fact, in February Tyga insisted they weren't together and that rumours he'd split from the mother of his child, Blac Chyna, to be with Kylie were false.

“I want to be clear to everybody that I didn’t leave my family to be with Kylie. That’s ridiculous. Me and [Blac] Chyna, we broke up close to a year now and because of the decision we made, and things in our relationship that wasn’t going right, so we decided to split to raise an emotionally stable kid. That’s what we did and now we have a great relationship," he told radio show The Breakfast Club.
