Jenny's got all the right moves for strictly

SHE'S the latest celebrity to sign up for Strictly Come Dancing and Jenny Gibney will be practising her steps with comedian husband Brendan O'Carroll.

The Dublin actress, who married Mrs Brown's Boys creator Brendan in 2005, has come on board for the latest season of the popular BBC programme which returns to the small screen next month.

In the lead up to her dancing debut, Jenny's stepson and TV co-star Danny O'Carroll told the Herald that viewers will be seriously impressed by her moves.

"We're all thrilled for her, she's going to do really well," Danny said.

"She can move - dad's a good dancer too, so they can practice with one another.

"I think there'll be quite a few Mrs Brown's Boys fans in the audience as well - and Jenny certainly has the personality to win everyone over anyway."

Eager to cheer Jenny on, Danny and the rest of the family are all vying for tickets to watch the show live in studio.

However, it is going to be a scramble.

"I'd love to go over and see her perform, there's a lot of us though, so tickets will have to be divvied up every week," Danny said.

Already confirmed for the upcoming series are former Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack, singer Frankie Bridge, Judy Murray, Mark Wright and pop princess Pixie Lott. Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday September 7, at 8pm.
