Presenter Kathryn Thomas may be loved up with her other half Padraig McLoughlin - but the Carlow native said they're in no hurry to settle down and move in together.
"We're doing it at our pace. That isn't on the cards just yet," she told the Herald.
The pair have been dating for over a year and have just returned from a romantic 'taycation' with their pack of 'puggles' - a pug and beagle crossbreed.
"We took a jaunt down to Castlemartyr in Cork with the dogs, Peter and Poppy," she said.
"It's lovely getting away for a few days. And being able to throw the dogs in the back of the car was very handy."
Thomas is making the most of her summer holidays before the madness of RTE's autumn schedule begins.
Earlier this month, she jetted off to boot camp in Spain where she was put through her paces by drill sergeants.
"It was amazing. It was full on and working out in the sun to get ready for the marathon. I was happy with the results, I was training between 7-10 hours a day. I don't know if I lost a huge amount of weight but I feel more toned."
Thomas fronts two of RTE's biggest shows: Operation Transformation and The Voice of Ireland.
"They are both big shiny-floor juggernaut shows - so getting some R&R is always an idea."
While Kathryn is interested in exploring the possibility of working further afield, she says Ireland and Irish TV is very much her focus at the moment.
"It's good to always keep your options. But at the same time, I'm aware that I've been working successfully here for so long," she said.
"Would I be interested in working abroad? Yes, if the right project came along. But right now I am happy."
