I want more babies, says model mum

MODEL mum Sarah McGovern is looking forward to having a "football team" of babies but believes it will spell the end of her modelling career.

The 32-year-old mum-of- one remains one of the most sought-after models in Ireland and says she will have to plan her next child carefully as her modelling days are numbered.

"I would love to have more, hopefully they will come along at some stage, but at the moment its hectic so it's trying to fit them in," Sarah told the Diary.

"I think the modelling would nearly be finished for me then if I did, so we'll have to wait and see what happens," she added.

Sarah who is married to partner of more than 10 years Kenny Vaughan, famously returned to work just weeks after having Jude, now 21 months old.

Sarah was back on the catwalk modelling lingerie just 16 weeks after her son's arrival, but defended her decision saying: "Girls here don't earn supermodel rates and I have to pay the mortgage every month."

Speaking about the joys of motherhood, Sarah told the Diary: "I absolutely love it, if I could have a football team I would.

"Now that I have Jude it's just about trying to juggle everything."

As well as her modelling jobs, Sarah is also a jewellery agent for Gemini and Miss Chic jewellery and is the National Spring Clean ambassador.

And being one of the more mature models, Sarah says that age is sometimes an advantage in the modelling worlds.

"I keep saying that I can't believe I am still modelling with the baby but I am really busy and working away.

"Jobs that come in now, they are looking for someone who is a bit older, they're looking for the mother look so that has worked out really well for me," she added.
