Holly says a truly sweet farewell to beau Cian as he heads Down Under

HER other half Cian Healy is about to head Down Under for the Lions tour.

But before he jets to Oz, model Holly Carpenter is making sure her man gets plenty of sugar.

The former Miss Ireland spent the weekend stocking a giant sweet jar with Cian's favourite penny treats.

"Proper Church's giant sweet jar is ready to go on tour! Sweets! Feeder!" she wrote beside a picture of the retro-looking candy jar.

Holly (22) had packed the container with an assortment of penny sweets, including mini eggs, liquorice whips and jelly tots.

It also included Cian's favourite sweet, white chocolate mice.

The prop has a serious sweet tooth – and we think the mammoth sweet jar will be empty by the time he gets to his boarding gate.

The heavyset prop joins fellow Irish players Brian O'Driscoll, Paul O'Connell, Jonathan Sexton, Conor Murray, Rob Kearney, Tommy Bowe, Jamie Heaslip and Sean O'Brien in Australia.

Cian and Holly met at a protest over Clontarf's flood wall in December 2011 and have been dating since.

The pair are trying to spend quality time together before Cian heads off.

"They are absolutely smitten and are trying to see each other as regularly as they can," a source said.

"Obviously it's tough because he's training so hard and it was a busy end to the season for Leinster. But they've just been chilling out, enjoying each other's company and going to nice restaurants."

On Saturday the pair headed out to Bay in Clontarf for breakfast.

Later that day Holly was seen cheering on the Boys in Blue in the RDS stands. She was joined by Cian's sister Adrienne.

"She gets on really well with his family," the source said. "It's going to be a busy summer for both of them."

"Obviously Cian is in Australia with rugby and Holly is going to Ios.

"After that she's heading to Egypt with her family to celebrate her dad's birthday. They're trying to stock pile time together before they both head off.

"We haven't been on a family holiday for ages," Holly told the Herald. "So we're going to Egypt – it's going to be so hot and I will be so tanned by the time we get back."

Holly is also due to take part in the next season of Britain And Ireland's Next Top Model.

Holly is believed to have got down to the final 12 on the show

"There are two other Irish girls – one from Dublin and one from Donegal," a source said. "But everything is being kept under lock and key until later this month."
