Grainne Seoige may be planning to have a big South African bash as she weds fiance Leon Jordaan.

But although he's now dividing his time between there and Ireland, she has "no plans" to head down there herself.

The Galway presenter (40) has "at least another year left" on her contract with RTE and has her usual trio of presenting jobs lined up over coming months. A source said she has been confirmed as the host of the People of the Year Awards next month, making it her eighth time to front them.

Sports fan Grainne will also be working on Up for the
Match in September in addition to being ear-marked for Crime Call.

"Grainne's contract with RTE will run for at least another year and she has lots of work coming up in the autumn. She has no immediate plans to move to South Africa," said a source.

She herself has had to move to allay speculation that she could be leaving Ireland, saying before how it was "just rumours".

Grainne and her rugby coach boyfriend got secretly engaged last November.

A former coach at Navan RC, Leon first met Grainne while she was making her Reality Bites programme and the pair clicked instantly.

They managed to keep the news to themselves until last April when her former agent Noel Kelly finally confirmed the news.

They celebrated with a party in Lillies Bordello joined by all their family and friends.

The happy couple have told pals they want to have a wedding in both Ireland and South Africa and have ear-marked 2015 as the year they'll walk down the aisle.

Grainne, who is very private about her personal life, said that Leon "understands" a west of Ireland girl like her. "He gets me. What I love about him is his sense of kindness and fun. He also has a strong sense of what's fair and what's right."

When asked about Grainne's working arrangements with RTE, a spokeswoman said that they don't comment on their talents' contracts.
