Georgia's heading for the celebrity jungle

I'M A Celebrity....Get Me Out of Here producers have set their sights on Georgia Salpa for the jungle.

The Killiney model is said to be top of the list of beauties which show bosses want to sizzle in the Australian heat. And the Herald can reveal that Georgia is in talks with producers of hit ITV programme about taking part in the show's next series.

The 27-year-old could soon be munching on creepy crawlies after her UK manager was asked if she'd be interested in going on the series.

I'm A Celebrity did wonders for the likes of former contestants Kerry Katona and runner-up Myleene Klass -- who is now well-known for wowing viewers with her shower scenes in a sexy white bikini in 2006.

An insider divulged that although Georgia's stint on Celebrity Big Brother helped launch her career in the UK, I'm A Celebrity would take things to a whole new level:

"Georgia going on Big Brother was the making of her career across the water and now that she's living in London, she has loads more opportunities coming her way."

"If she went on the show, it could have the same effect on her career as it did for Myleene Klass. Producers are very keen to get lots of gorgeous girls on the show, they always have at least two models on it and this time around will be the same. They start casting for it very early as they need to know who's available and book them in advance and an approach was made to Georgia to see if she would be interested. But it all depends on timing and what kind of fee is on offer," a pal close to the busty star said.

Since moving to London, Georgia has been tipped for big things and the upcoming instalment of the ITV show would be a tremendous bonus for her.

There may be one obstacle in the way however. According to insiders, the Dubliner has a fear of heights and snakes.

Petite Georgia is currently signed with Neon Management and has been making a name for herself across in Britain, having set up home over there full time a few months ago.

The beauty, who recently jetted back to Dublin to launch her own fake eyelash range, moved in with boyfriend Joe Penna in an apartment in Mayfair last month as she continues building up her profile.

Meanwhile, last week it was revealed that the Georgia's ex-boyfriend Calum Best, who she met on TV3's Celebrity Salon last year, has been signed up for RTE's Celebrity Bainisteoir, joining beauties like Rozanna Purcell and Pippa O'Connor for the GAA-based show this summer.
