Twilight fans will be kept waiting a whole year for the second instalment of Breaking Dawn to be released in cinemas, it has been announced.
Twi-hards rejoiced when it was revealed the final instalment of the vampire love story starring Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart would be split into two films to stay true to Stephanie Meyer's fourth book, but Summit Entertainment has now announced The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, is scheduled for release on November 16, 2012.
The first half is coming out on November 18, 2011, leaving the swooning R-Patz fans waiting to see vampire Edward Cullen and Bella Swan get their happy ever after.
Dreamgirls' Bill Condon is set to direct both movies, based on the final book in Stephanie Meyer's series about vampires, werewolves and the teenage girl caught in between them.
Production is scheduled to begin this autumn.
Part three, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, has made over 288 million dollars in its five weeks in cinemas.
