CHAT show host, actress and Oscar-nominee Oprah Winfrey was so nervous about her role in her new film that she took acting lessons.
The star, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Steven Spielberg's 1985 film The Color Purple, also revealed she argued with the director of The Butler.
This was because she was so worried about her character swearing.
The film, which follows the rise of the civil rights movement in America to the election of Barack Obama through the eyes of a servant at the White House, is Winfrey's first big screen role in 15 years.
Winfrey plays the wife of Forest Whitaker's title character.
She said taking the role was a "big risk" and she asked an acting coach for help.
