JAMIE Dornan is reportedly reconsidering his future with the Fifty Shades franchise.

The Irish actor’s wife is said to be uncomfortable with the role and the notoriety and publicity that has followed, it has been claimed.

Actress Amelia Warner has not seen the S&M blockbuster and has no desire to do so, according to Australian magazine NW.

Jamie (32) is now reported to have told film bosses he won’t return as businessman Christian Grey for the second and third movie, the

magazine says.

There were reports earlier this month of a difference of opinion between the book’s writer EL James and director Sam Taylor-Johnson.

Despite the massive takings at the box office, producers have yet to make a formal announcement about the adaptation of the second book in the series.

Stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson – who were originally committed to the series – are now unsure about a return. Taylor-Johnson has said she “disagreed a lot” with James and had several “battles” with the author.

“She created these characters and the story. I was trying to create a film experience that would honour the book but at the same time give us a fresh perspective,” she said.

“That was difficult for her. We’d battle things out. I think you could say we crossed every scenario through our battles.”

Separately, on last night’s red carpet at the Academy Awards, Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne said he’s not sure if he will go to see his best mate Jamie in Fifty Shades along with his wife Hannah Bagshawe.

“I’d have to ask her,” The Theory of Everything star said. “I think it’s a bit weird when it’s your friend.

“I haven’t seen the film yet because I’ve been shooting a film in London. I think it was quite an extraordinary

experience for him [Jamie].”
