Ben Affleck denies relationship with children's nanny
Ben Affleck has denied reports claiming he is dating his children's 28-year-old nanny.
The magazine Us Weekly claimed that Affleck (42) has been seeing Christine Ouzounian who was hired to care for his three children Violet (9), Seraphina (6) and Samuel (3) this year.
The magazine quotes "multiple sources" who say an attraction has grown between the Batman Vs Superman star and Ouzounian, with one quoting the Californian nanny as saying "it's true love".
They also claim that Affleck's former partner Jennifer Garner (43) let Ouzounian go once she heard about the alleged romance. Garner was in the middle of a 10-month trial separation from Affleck at the time.
However, a representative for Affleck responded to the magazine yesterday, insisting "all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue".
A further statement simply stated: "It's garbage".
The New York Post reported sources close to Affleck describing the stories as "full of lies".
"You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind sources' and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time," the source told the Post.
"The tabloid [Us Weekly] decided to construct stories to sell magazines. It's like story time in kindergarten. It's shameful and desperate."
Split
Affleck and Garner formally announced their split after ten years of marriage last month.
Affleck is working on his new film, Live by Night, which is scheduled to hit cinemas at the end of next year and will also star Zoe Saldana and Sienna Miller.
It has been claimed Affleck and Garner are temporarily staying in a property owned by actress Brooke Shields with their three children until further arrangements are made.
Their family home in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles is currently being renovated.
It is understood they plan to remain living on the same property but in separate accommodation.
