FFF SHE is known for her role in Chris O'Dowd's Moone Boy and now award-winning actress Aoife Duffin is taking to the stage in playwright Eimear McBride's A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival. Adapted and directed by Annie Ryan of the Corn Exchange Theatre Company, it follows the inner narrative of a girl from birth to 20. The Dublin Theatre Festival 2014 runs from September 25 to October 12, when 27 world-class productions will be staged across 21 different venues in the city and suburbs.

FFF CULTURE night is coming back and featured in the line-up next month is an environmentally friendly solar-powered mobile cinema - the Sol Cinema. Film and TV projects funded by the BAI through its Sound & Vision II Scheme will be shown throughout the evening. Culture Night 2014 takes place on Friday, September 19, and for the second year in a row the BAI building at 2-5 Warrington Place will be open to the public from 5pm to 11pm. FFF Arthur's Pub on Thomas Street will be taken over for The Old Music Hall Cabaret on September 13. Doors will open at 9pm and tickets are priced at €10. The night will be presented by Helena Mulkerns.
