Eagle-eyed Andrea tees up a winner by signing Rory's new 'close pal'

SHE burst onto the scene as a result of her friendship with Rory McIlroy and now it seems Sasha Gale is set to become a star in her own right.

The Belfast beauty has been snapped up by Andrea Roche and is now on the books of the mum-of-one's Dublin-based modelling agency.

"I'm just delighted to have signed her, there's been a lot of international interest in her dark exotic looks and she has a great personality to go with it, which is great for modelling," Tipperary-born Andrea told the Herald last night.

Self-described as 'travel-sized', Sasha works as a receptionist at a car dealership and has been stepping out as a part-time model whenever not behind the desk.

The 23-year-old was given the seal of approval by Georgia Salpa in recent days, who said that Sasha is "absolutely stunning, with an amazing body" and could have a highly successful career ahead of her.

Now the Antrim native may be encouraged to give up her day job permanently and pursue the runway full time.

Andrea, a former Miss Ireland, has plenty of experience in picking out potential catwalk queens from a crowd.

In addition to looking after Roz Purcell, Aoife Cogan, Sarah McGovern and ex Miss World Rosanna Davison, she scouted Clara McSweeney, from Cork, who is about to take the fashion industry in New York by storm.

A deal was struck between Andrea and Sasha yesterday.

There will no doubt be dozens of clients looking to book Sasha for her first job with AR.

The petite brunette first appeared in the public eye last month, when rumours circulated that she is dating 25-year-old superstar Rory.

The pair were pictured in Belfast collecting Rory's luxury Range Rover after he flew back to celebrate his British Open win with family and friends in Northern Ireland.

Neither have commented on their supposed relationship, but there has been plenty of interest in Sasha.

Another model on the books of AR is Nadia Forde. The aspiring musician was linked to 25-year-old earlier this summer.

The pair met at a party for a mutual friend in trendy hotspot 37 Dawson Street.

However, rugby player Luke Fitzgerald's ex girlfriend Nadia has insisted she and Rory are, and have always been, just pals.

Fast becoming one of the best golfers to ever grace the course, Rory's professional life is soaring.

Following his victory in the PGA Championship at Valhalla in the US this month, the four-time Major winner turned out on Saturday to show off his prized Claret jug at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium - in what was the opening day of the soccer season.

His recent win follows his split with fiancee Caroline Wozniacki three months ago.

The break up came only days after invitations to their New York November wedding were sent out to guests. Prior to his romance with Caroline, he dated rugby cheerleader Holly Sweeney for six years.

The couple were childhood sweethearts but called it quits in 2011.
