Claudine keeps it real by saying no to Housewives

TOP WAG Claudine Keane was offered a part on the smash US reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the Diary can reveal.

However, the classy blonde (28) won't appear in the programme after deciding that it "wasn't her thing."

"The cast members are all a good bit older than Claudine and lead these very 'out there', drama-filled lives which makes for great TV but she felt that it wasn't really her thing.

"She's happy concentrating on being a mum to Robert Jnr and supporting Robbie but it was still very flattering to be asked as it shows that she's starting to get attention in all the right circles," said a source.

Focusing on the outrageous antics of the show's stars including Adrienne Maloof, Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards, the glamorous ladies are renowned for their love of the high life and fondness for cosmetic surgery.

It's all a far cry from the low-key life that Claudine has been living in the States after she and her other half swapped these shores for the sun-kissed city.

The wife of LA Galaxy and Ireland star Robbie Keane is continuing to make massive waves across the pond, thanks to her stunning good looks and easygoing nature.

One of the most popular WAGs with the team that David Beckham plays for, she made the move over to the States with her hubby in 2010 -- and the pair haven't looked back since.

She has been approached to take part in a number of TV projects but has been careful about what she signs up to.

The lingerie model is also the face of Ultimo's Adore Moi range and often flies back home to shoot campaigns for them.

And there's no word yet on whether she'll be coming back to her home town this Friday to cheer on the boys in green as they take on the might of Germany in the World Cup qualifier at the Aviva Stadium.

She was a constant sight at all of Ireland's games in Poland last summer at their ill-fated Euros campaign. Despite the poor result, she said she was still very proud of her striker hubby and even whisked him off to Las Vegas to celebrate his 32nd birthday as they unwound after the tournament.
