SHE was the female star of smash hit blockbuster Titanic and has wowed on the Oscars red carpet, so it's safe to say Kate Winslet is seen as something of a fashion icon.
And Irish presenter Lisa Cannon is hoping some of that stardust will rub off, after she snapped up a designer gown that was made for the Hollywood actress.
The Dublin TV host acquired the dress from UK designer Suzanne Neville for the IFTAs next month.
However, Lisa, who is taking part in the Powerlifting Championships before making her way to the awards on the same date of April 5, said she must ensure she doesn't bulk up too much.
"The dress was made especially for Kate for a film premiere she was attending, but she didn't wear it in the end so I got it," Lisa told the Herald.
"I am the same size as Kate, so the dress just about fits, but I have to make sure that I don't put on too much muscle before then."
Xpose presenter Lisa is in the final stages of her powerlifting training and the hour-long documentary about her journey airs on TV3 on April 15.
