Bono and Edge hit the town

U2 frontman Bono got his Christmas off to a raucous start with a night-time visit to his regular haunt.

The singer was spotted enjoying a drink with band-member The Edge in Lillie's Bordello on Grafton Street. They were joined by pals including artist Guggi and designer John Rocha. Humanitarian Bono is expected to be a regular sight around Dublin over the next two weeks as he celebrates the festival in his home town.

There's no word yet on whether he will be partaking in his annual busking session, but he is due to head to Leopardstown on Stephen's Day.
