Best debuts beard as he hits Dublin

Gordon D’Arcy has done it, Michael Fassbender gave it a go, and now party boy Calum Best is the latest celebrity to cover up with a full beard.

The son of Irish football legend George Best showed off his hairy look as he jetted back to Dublin over the weekend and promptly hit the social scene.

The 33-year-old is sporting a tough guy look of late and stopped by a tatoo parlour while in the capital before checking into the Morgan Hotel.

He later made his way to Grafton Street haunt Lillies Bordello, a regular watering hole for the reality television star.

Known for his usually tanned and preened appearance, Best has undergone a startling man-over’, swapping his highlights and razor for a chest full of tatoos and a very busy beard.

It was a late night for the socialite who was joined in the exclusive members bar by comedian Des Bishop and socialite Richie Kavanagh.

Meanwhile, on Friday night, members of the cast and crew of Fair City were spotted enjoying a night at Lillies.
