She's won numerous awards this year for her sense of style and her fashion blog, and model Pippa O'Connor says the trophies prove her hard work has paid off.

The blonde beauty (30), who was voted Ireland's most stylish woman, took home three gongs at this year's Beauty Blog Awards for her site Pippa.ie.

While winning awards is just an added bonus for the busy mum, she admitted she loves when her work is recognised.

"I was shocked but I was delighted. It's great because you put so much work into it so it really does make it worthwhile when you have something to show for it," she told the Diary.

Pippa snapped up awards for best beauty, fashion and overall blog at the event earlier this summer and has since given her popular blog a facelift.

"I'm really happy with it, it's a completely new look to what was there," she said.

Despite initial worries her followers might not like the new design, Pippa is confident that the updated site has been changed for the better.

"Anything that's new and different can sometimes shock people, especially those that regularly look on the site, so I'm really grateful that the reaction has been so good," she said at the launch of her new site.

excited

"The content is going to be the same but I'm really excited to add more sections

"There's going to be a travel section and there's a few other things coming up.

"I found that any time I went away, whether it was LA or London, people were very interested in where you've been to eat and shop, so I thought it would be good to talk about my own experiences."

While her blog continues to take off, Pippa is happy to keep it as her main focus.

"My website is so busy and that's kind of a full-time job so at the moment, so I'm happy to do bits of everything - it keeps it interesting," she said recently.

However, Pippa has her eye on following in her presenter husband Brian Ormond's footsteps and doing some more TV work.

"I'm doing Ireland AM regularly now as a stylist and I'm loving that - being given all these opportunities which are different to modelling is brilliant," she said.

"I would definitely love to do more on TV - fashion and style-based for sure."
