Yummy mummy Louise Loughman makes a full recovery

YUMMY mummy Louise Loughman has revealed her relief after making a full recovery from a back injury in time to host Christmas dinner for the entire family at her Castleknock home.

The former model explained how she is still visiting a chiropractor for treatment after suffering a herniated disc, which saw her laid up in bed for several days last month.

However, the mum-of-four insists that after resting up in recent weeks, she is now back to full health and can't wait to cook a lavish turkey dinner for 12 on Saturday.

"I ended up having a herniated disc in my back, it was one of those things that couldn't be helped. I was just bending over to wipe the table after dinner and it got jammed," she said.

"It was unfortunate, the timing of it, as I had been due to take part in a charity fashion show that week, so I was disappointed not to be able to do it.

"Thankfully I'm 100pc better now but I'm still going to my chiropractor to be on the safe side.

"I'm looking forward to staying at home for Christmas this year. I love having the entire family over and it's great for the kids as we want them to be able to play with their Santa toys at home that day."

Former RTE presenter Louise went on to explain how there is plenty of excitement in their house, with her daughters Chloe (5) and Sophie (3) counting down the minutes until they can open their presents.

This will also mark her and husband Stephen Byrne's first Christmas with 19-week-old twins Christian and Harriet in the mix.

Louise, who was once a member of Valerie Roe's band Chill, says she's loving motherhood and is blessed that her new arrivals are very "easy babies".

Weather permitting, the family are planning to ring in the New Year at Mount Falcon in Mayo.
