X Factor beauty Roberta in new bid for pop fame

Hands up who remembers gorgeous 2004 X Factor finalist Roberta Howett?

The stunning crooner may have gone off the showbiz radar over the past few years but she's announced she's coming back with a bang.

The Dublin star is gearing up to officially launch her debut single Beautiful Lies on February 26. And to mark the occasion, she has invited all her best pals in the music business to join her at an invite-only party in the Odessa Club two days before.

She'll be performing for attendees as she has another stab at stardom. Meanwhile, we had another X Factor contestant in our midst this week, namely Stacey Solomon, who flew in to appear on RTE's The Afternoon Show.

The blonde mum-of-one, who made it down to the final three on the hit programme, was busy dishing the dirt to Sheana Keane and co-presenter Maura Derrane after flying in especially to appear on the show.

She'll be back in Dublin next month as she performs here at the O2 Arena as part of the X Factor Live tour.
