Wonderland Leigh's dream radio job

SINGER-turned-model Leigh Learmount, inset, has landed a lucrative gig on a top Dublin radio station.

The Dublin songstress who recently split from Kian Egan's girl band Wonderland has landed a dream role which is set to launch her into the world of presenting. Leigh has made no secret of the fact that she would like to work as a TV host for the likes of TG4 and RTE and now it looks like a radio gig will get her one step closer.

An insider revealed that the ambitious singer was over the moon about her new gig.

"Leigh was in top secret talks this week with a station in Dublin. It's a dream come true for her. After Wonderland split she honestly felt like this was the end of the road, but since joining Assets and getting her face back out there again lots of people have been in contact with her for a new career move," the source said.

Although Leigh (21) remained tight-lipped, the Dublin star said she was overwhelmed by the amount of attention she had been getting. "It really does show that every cloud has a silver lining, and I'm feeling really positive about my future," she said.
