Movie star Colin Farrell has been voted one of the world's top sex symbols -- for gay men.
The renowned woman-iser, who said he hated his one on-screen kiss with a man, has now taken his place among the world's gay icons.
Farrell was in good company in the hot 100 listing, compiled by popular gay and bisexual website AfterElton.
The list included Barack Obama -- and fellow Irishman Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Dubliner Farrell was number 66 in the poll, with Rhys Meyers well ahead at 44th. The Cork-born Tudors' star polled ahead of Clive Owen, Jude Law and Orlando Bloom.
They can both take heart in polling well ahead of stars such as George Clooney, who lagged behind at number 73.
Farrell is currently dating Polish singer and actress Alicja Bachleda, his co-star in the forthcoming movie Ondine.
Although the top 100 was dominated by straight men, nearly 20pc were gay, including those in the top three.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris, of Starship Troopers, was number one, followed by Torchwood star John Barrowman and Brothers and Sisters' actor Luke MacFarlane.
Last year's poll-topper Jake Gyllenhal dropped to fourth, with X-Men's Wolverine Hugh Jackman in eighth.
