THE inquest into the death of singer Amy Winehouse was due to start today.
The 27-year-old Back To Black star was found dead at her flat in Camden, north London, on July 23.
An initial post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and no cause of death was given when the inquest was opened and adjourned in August.
Because of Winehouse's very public battles with drink and drugs, news of her death was quickly followed by suggestions it could be related to one or the other.
However, toxicology results showed there were "no illegal substances" in Winehouse's body at the time of her death, her family said, although "alcohol was present".
The inquest will be heard at St Pancras Coroner's Court, London.
