Will Rozanna be Fade Street's saviour?

TOP model Rozanna Purcell has been parachuted in by Fade Street producers in a desperate bid to have the show recommissioned.

In an attempt to create some buzz around the fly-on-the-wall series, Fade Street execs have brought the former Miss Universe Ireland on board to give the show some serious star quality.

Filming for the reality TV show is currently taking place but producers are struggling to find a network to buy it.

At the moment, the plan is to broadcast it on the internet but bosses are hoping a TV station will buy it after it's filmed.

The first series' run on RTE never managed to get over the 100,000 viewer mark.

Even though the series attracted a big viewership online, it didn't do the business on the small screen and ratings were disappointingly low.

Roz appeared unfazed by the film crew yesterday as they shot scenes outside Harry's Bar with her new co-stars Louise Johnston and Vogue Williams.

While DJ Vogue played up to the cameras and canoodled with her beau Brian McFadden between takes, Tipperary girl Roz remained cool and relaxed as she smoked a cigarette outside the popular Dublin haunt.

Clearly trumping the other girls in the fashion stakes, effortlessly stylish Roz donned a chic tan blazer, white tee and a mini print skirt for filming.

Roz's role in the series -- which will now be shown in webisodes online after it failed to be picked up -- could become a regular fixture in the show if all goes well.

An insider revealed that if viewers are impressed a proper second series will be commissioned and they will be following the hectic modelling world of Roz.

"Roz is such an international model. She has campaigns in South Africa, Mexico, Europe and she is the face of Gosh, the producers really like her. If there is a good response to Roz, Fade Street will hopefully come back on to TV for good, and they will be following around Roz on all her photoshoots and campaigns" the source said.

Brian McFadden appeared relaxed as he watched proceedings yesterday.

He is planning on returning to Oz next week with Vogue and hopes his contacts can give his career a boost Down Under.

Meanwhile, newlyweds Brian Ormond and Pippa O'Connor are also tipped to make an appearance on the show.
