FORMER X Factor hopeful Melanie McCabe (left) is being tipped for a possible co-starring role in this year's Christmas panto with Jedward.
The Dublin teenager is being tipped for a possible appearance in the sold-out production of Jedward And The Beanstalk in the Olympia Theatre.
Melanie (18), from Whitehall, narrowly missed out on becoming one of the finalists on the talent programme and is now considering all her options after returning home to Dublin.
And the Mount Temple student said a role in the pantomime, which runs from December 21 to January 8, would be her ideal job.
"I would look at anything that came my way. The more experience I get the better so something like that would be great. I think Jedward (right with Linda Martin) are brilliant. I haven't met them but they seem really nice."
She added: "At the moment, I'm not going to be doing anything for the next few weeks as I'm busy studying for the Leaving Cert but I would consider anything."
She also said that she hasn't been put off the music industry as a result of her experience on the show, which saw her dropped by Kelly Rowland just before the final 16 acts were chosen.
"Singing is my whole life and I'm not going to stop doing it just because of what happened on the X Factor," she told the Herald.
