Claudine Keane has embraced the WAG lifestyle so much that she was confused for one of Britain's best known footballer's wives.
The Press Association confused Claudine for Steven Gerrard's wife Alex Curran at the launch of the Liverpool Hilton Hotel yesterday, and even wrongly captioned a photograph of Keane with her mother, Joan Palmer, as being the Liverpool star's wife.
Since moving to Liverpool with her footballer husband, Ireland captain Robbie, she is often snapped shopping at favourite WAG boutique, Cricket, and the British press have often accused her of trying to become the new Queen of the WAGs.
Members of the press confused the Assets model for Curran after seeing a glossy photo spread in VIP, which featured the mother and daughter team posing in designer gear and five inch heels.
In spite of the fact that Claudine is Irish and her doppelganger is English, both are regular tabloid fixtures with a taste for the finer things in life.
Last night, Claudine and her WAG counterparts including Coleen Rooney and Jennifer Metcalfe donned their best partywear for a Cricket fashion show in Liverpool to launch the new Hilton.
Alex and Claudine brought more attention to their physical similarities by sporting similar short black dresses and leather jackets.
Jennifer Metcalfe also opted for the black leather look, but new mum Coleen stood ahead of the pack in a pink, Grecian inspired dress.
Curran has been one of the most talked about WAGs in recent years, for her penchant for designer items, and just made the headlines this week after spending an estimated €31,000 on three outfits in one week.
Although she was praised for getting back into shape so quickly after giving birth to her first child, she was equally criticised for showing it off.
While both Curran and Keane are the latest to be at the receiving end of negative press, both pale in comparison to the world's most famous WAG Victoria Beckham.
Posh Spice has managed to shred all affiliation with the WAG stereotype -- often seen as the perma-tanned, bleached blonde, overspending partner as seen on the hit programme Footballer's Wives.
And they need not worry about their newfound rivalry in the never-ending WAG drama, there always seems to be a new competition brewing -- whether it's between Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole, or the newly sparked Claudine Keane and Alex Curran debacle.
Claudine revealed that during her eight-year relationship with Robbie Keane, she has become accustomed to life in the limelight.
"Because I met Rob when I was 18, I suppose I got used to it early. It became normal for me. I had to be more protective of myself and who was around me. It happened to me young and it happened quickly," she said.
"All of a sudden I would be in a bar and I could feel certain people in the media watching me. From then, it was never the same again. On my first holiday with Rob there were paparazzi in the bushes! It is very different, it's only when I sit down and speak to people about it that I realise how unusual it is."
