PRESENTER Grainne Seoige seems to be relishing her role as a WAG, the Herald can reveal.
The Crimecall host took time out of her busy TV schedule over the weekend to accompany her South African boyfriend Leon Jordaan (39) to the annual president's dinner at Navan Rugby Club, where he coaches.
Up to 200 invited members and guests turned out at the Meath club on Friday night and sources said that brunette beauty Grainne (38) was delighted to join in with the festivities.
An insider told the Herald that the Galway girl looked completely at ease during the bash and spent the night chatting and laughing with her partner, who trains Navan's senior team.
"It was a big night for the club, everyone brought along their wives or partners, so obviously Leon was delighted that Grainne came with him.
"She looked really relaxed, no one was bothering her at all and she seemed to have a very good time mingling with everyone -- you could tell she was happy to stay in the background and let Leon be the centre of attention."
Although she's used to being in the spotlight, the former Daybreak features editor took a back seat for Friday's occasion and let guest of honour for the evening, former Scottish international Gavin Hastings, use the microphone.
The legendary fullback treated the revellers to a 30-minute commentary and question and answer session ahead of Ireland's Six Nations clash on Saturday evening, which saw Declan Kidney's men triumph 32-14 over Scotland.
Meanwhile, things appear to be going strong for loved-up Grainne and All-Ireland League Division Two coach Leon, as they continue to introduce each other to their friends.
The couple, who have been on holidays together and spent a romantic night at Ballsbridge hotel the Four Seasons, helped toast trainer to the stars Paul Byrne at a glitzy birthday party last month, where the Modern Life anchor proudly showed off her man to pals, which included Kathryn Thomas and Xpose's Glenda Gilson.
